It’s a trauma story masquerading as horror at best. At worst it’s some dark romance written by an edgy teenage goth kid. In summation it’s a story about something horrible that does not equate to a horror story. you seem to have a very skewed idea of what horror is. Horror explores the darkness and can be complex.
