Never seemed worth a crap in my experience. The cost is too high for the small return they provide. Started a new campaign in 1.7 too. Saved enough to build one with a spicevendor companion . Made it . First few days made 500~600 then it went down to below 100. It fucking sucks.

Companions in Mount and Blade 2 Bannerlord can always be found in the inn. Travel to any city and visit a tavern (you don't have to enter it, you just have to choose the tavern option in the campaign mode) - if there is at least one potential companion in that particular inn, you will see him on the list, as in the picture above. Best. Dr_Expendable • 2 yr. ago. This gets asked a lot, so I'll skip straight to the tl;dr version; -Bannerlord's base game is getting more polished and feature-complete, and is now (subjectively) better than Warband's base game. -Warband has hella mods, and it's (many) total conversions beat the dick clean off of Bannerlord's mods.
